With all deliberate speed, Carin soaked in a lot of late 80’s atmosphere during her tenure at UCLA, finally deciding that she could attend better parties in the Hollywood Hills if she worked for an entertainment PR firm.
The native Angeleno spent quality time honing her skills at some great agencies in Los Angeles including Bragman Nyman Cafarelli and Cohn & Wolfe, as well as a few others before heading over to Planet Hollywood for an extended stay.
Galletta started Ink Foundry Public Relations in 1999 in direct response to the big agency mentality that put more emphasis on the bottom line than on producing great results for clients.
With more than 15 (refuses to admit to more) years of experience with gold standard brands such as Hilton Hotels Corporation, Chevron Products Company, CarMax, Johnny Walker, Tanqueray, Taco Bell Foundation, KFC, DoubleTree, Hampton Inn, Embassy Suites and more, she is proud to have built an agency that’s puts its clients first. Besides, it’s fun to troubleshoot problems.
Galletta is especially proud that her program for KFC at the Academy Awards was named as “one of the most creative of the year” by PR Week and the Ambassador health care initiative that helped underserved women receive free mammograms
Note: to maintain some semblance of professionalism, this is not a complete resume.
